Learn to skate or improve your skills with the Mount Washington Valley Skating Club. The club offers group lessons utilizing the US Figure Skating ’ “Skate With U.S.” basic skills curriculum. Classes are grouped by age and ability. Private lessons can also be arranged with any of our coaching staff and practice ice is available for members and guests of other USFS clubs.
SnowPlow Sam Levels 1-3 – Teaches preliminary moves to pre-schoolers
Basic Skills Levels 1-8 – FUN!damentals of skating for beginners
Hockey Skating Skills Levels 1-4 – Introduction to Hockey skating with emphasis on power and agility Endorsed by United States Amateur Hockey
Free Skate Levels 1-6 – Learn to jump, spin and other athletic and artistic elements
Adult Basic Skills Levels 1-4 – Master Ice Skating basics while improving balance and coordination
Group Lessons are 8 week sessions unless otherwise noted, Pre-Registration Required. Pre-Registration Nights will be held prior to the start of each session. You may also register online at www.mwvsc.coursestorm.com . AnnualRegistration Fee is $15.00 (September – August). Lessons consist of 20 minute group lesson with Coach and 40 minute individual practice Ice. Student coaches are on the Ice to assist the coaches.
Please Note: Membership in MWVSC must be paid prior to the first day of skating during any Fiscal Year in order to Receive Reduced Fees for Lessons or Skating Practice Ice.
